It’s just 31 days until the Fall Picnic Oct 17th. Let's talk about Covid-19 and staying safe, which community organizations will be with us?

It is time to be direct. COVID 19 protocols are in place for all attendees

The CDC and commonsense tells us when we mask up indoors and are fully vaccinated, we keep ourselves and others safe. Outdoors we social distance and are considerate of others.

The picnic we will have children under 12 yrs.  At present, they cannot be vaccinated. It’s our responsibility to protect them by being vaccinated and following CDC protocols on masking, social distancing and staying away if we have COVID symptoms.

  • We will be checking temperatures prior to admission.
  • Masks will be required to enter and remain in INDOOR areas; hand sanitizers will be on hand.
  • We expect all attendees 12 years old and over to be fully vaccinated

We are checking daily with the CDC, Harris County and Fort Bend Health departments for guidance. We chose Smith Ranch http://www.smithranchkaty.com  as it provides outdoor and indoor space.

The Katy Christian Ministries Van will be with us, remember admission is by a non-perishable food donation to the  Katy Christian Ministries Food Pantry

Outdoors you’ll find children activities including, a petting zoo, bouncy castle, and playground activities. Candidate sponsor tables are indoors, and community organization information tables are outdoors.

Our speaker list is almost complete, and we are excited about it. We’ll complete the onstage activities with the Raw Take Podcast hosted by Katy resident Gion Thomas as well as a poet and D.J.

Hungry? We will have food trucks from Katy Sliders   and Howdy Ice Cream! KPRC news featured  Howdy Ice Cream KPRC 2 recently.
