Be Blue in 22, 18 days until the KAD Fall Picnic

Be ready for something different……90 days ago we set out to create an event of engagement and community for all Democrats, that strengthens Katy Area Democrats’ mission of delivering volunteers, education, and financial resources for upcoming elections. Be ready to network, to make new friends and come together in one blue community.

Speakers, officeholders & candidate sponsors, community organizations are finalized, listedn and spend time one on one with them, learn how together we make can make a difference – when we know and enjoy each other.

Need a break? Enjoy the ranch, be enthralled by poetry, join the children’s activities, grab an adult beverage, check out the food at  Katy Sliders – then go over to the Howdy Ice Cream  truck for your child’s  Free Ice cream!  Network, make new friends, reconnect, exchange contact information come out to enjoy the community and nuture those new friendships after the event.

Where: Smith Ranch http://www.smithranchkaty.com , outdoor and indoor space. 

When: Sunday October 17^th 1- 5pm

Admission is by a non-perishable food donation to the Katy Christian Ministries Food Pantry

What: Confirmed speakers are Candidate for Lt Governor, Mike Collier, Fort Bend County Attorney Brian Middleton, FBCDP Chair Cynthia Ginyard, HCDP Chair Odus Evbagharu

Candidate and office holder tables are indoors, and community organization information tables are outdoors. Candidates and Office Holder Tables , Community Organizations . Speakers will be spread over  2 hours with lots of time  in between for networking and conversations

Outdoors you’ll find children’s activities including, a petting zoo, bouncy castle, playground activities and surprise fun activities.

We’ll start at 1:45 pm with our the Poetry segment  https://cabbythepoet.com/about/,

the Raw Take Podcast  D. J.  Harold Burns, will be on hand while we take a seat and spend time with our office holders, candidates, and community organizations at their tables.
